Lois Wlaznak Robins

Lois Wlaznak Robins

In the fall after graduation, I went to Spokane, Washington to attend Sacred Heart School of Nursing.  I graduated in 1966 and continued working at the hospital in Spokane.  I met my husband, Gordon, later that fall and we were married in 1967.  In 1968, our first daughter, Diane, was born, and I continued working part time until our daughter, Janet, was born in 1970.  I was still on maternity leave when we moved to Boise, ID in 1971.  I had the pleasure of staying home and being a full mother for 10 years, before returning to work in a medical setting.  In May of 1981, I found my passion in nursing working with adolescent patients in both residential and acute psychiatric care.
I have enjoyed several cruises to Mexico, the Caribbean, Alaska and the Eastern Coastline. I have also traveled with my daughter Diane, to Germany and Italy.
I enjoy living very close to my daughter Janet, her husband DJ, and my two wonderful grandchildren, Payton and Nate.

I retired in April of this year and look forward to going to the Bahamas in September.  I am also enjoying golfing, traveling and relaxing.
